i 2 jl audio w6 and a lighting audio 1000w amp i had never heard of lighting audio before should i invest in a better quality amp ? and i also have a MAGNA audio 800w amp anybody know anything bout magna

Placement should be what sounds best to you, nothing more nothing less. Play around with orientation, and location and go with what sounds good to you. As far as the amp goes i would stay with the lightning gives you more overhead, less likely to distort (clip). Lightning is/was owned by Rockford Fosgate. Magna I have never heard of.
