Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I bought a used f90bt off ebay for dirt cheap. The previous owner stated gps just stopped working one day, but it was fully functional otherwise. I thought I couldn't go wrong even if the gps would not work, and bought another gps antenna to try. With both antenna it just sits there flashing yellow searching for signal. Previous owner tried flashing to latest official update to no avail. I cracked it open, and poked around the gps to make sure the solder joints looked good on antenna connector and all was good. Just a shot in the dark, but would anyone know where to start on what might be wrong, or what I might want to look at. I have an oscope and am proficient at soldering and such. I looked through the service manual that was posted up elsewhere, and did not see much relating to the gps unit. Thank you in advance
Zippy PS If it would at all help I can send you the pdf for the service manual, or the link to where I found it |

This is a very specific problem and you'll likely need to find someone that has had and resolved the problem. I know of no other place that would be of any help and I've never worked on any head unit with GPS.
