Yes. It probably failed when the Zener failed.

dang! another problem
it appears as though i don't have any 910 ohm resistors on hand i have a 1k ohm or i can do 3-300 ohm for 900 ohms would 900 or 1k be ok? |

I have never posted on this forum but I do have to say that this is the most user friendly forum that I have ever seen. I would like to congratulate Perry because he definitely know his stuff (not to underestimate the others here) and his willingness to help others.
I personally own a "spanish" speaking car audio forum and occasionally wonder in here to increase my technical/repair knowledge. This specific thread has helped me immensely with several Planet Audio repairs. Thanks to you all! |
