Default amp tester / switch box

the parts list said 12 diodes (1n4002GDICT-ND) but in the assembly pics i see 14. do i need to get more?

It would help first if you could provide a link to the circuit that you are using-that would make solving the problem much easier.

Isn't it too hard to just post a link, there are so many pages on Perry's site and I don't really feel like looking through all of them and neither will most forum members.

how are we supposed to know?

I looked at the pics, and it has 14 diodes, I looked at the parts list, and it only lists 12.

I can't find a schematic, so, you work it out?

looking at the photo of the PCB, I'd guess that two are used across the coils of two relays, which may not have been in the original design.

I'm more confused why you are asking on here? and not asking the guy who runs that website?

I would just order a couple more than you think you need to cover for any that might blow up (one in a million) or just to make sure you are able to complete the project without running out of parts (more likely).

Perry (the author) is on here usually and I'm sure if you emailed or PM'd him he'd be happy to help.
