Suggestions for car stereo?

I am in the market for a new car receiver/CD player and would like some suggestions for a good unit to purchase. I need a single-space DIN size IEJ unit with a fixed (not fold-down) faceplate, good digital-to-analog conversion, and decent amplification in the 15-to-20 watts RMS per channel range. I prefer simplicity of operation with as few menus to navigate as possible (although I know that may be difficult to find these days). Price in the $200.00 US range, although I am willing to spend more for the right unit.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a currently-available car stereo with which you have personal experience? If not, can you suggest any units about which you have heard good things? Any help will be appreciated.

If you look through www.slickdeals.net you can likely find a 30% coupon code for Pioneer products at www.amazon.com. I bought a 3200BT for $300 (reg $450) and am very happy. For $200 you are looking for mid-level products.
