Default Mmats DHC1400.02 needs repairing.

I just picked up this amp and it has a few problems...

I think one of the transformer coils may be shorted. Is this amp worth repairing? The output transistors measrure up OK on the DVM... I wonder if someone hooked this amp up backwards and then tried to twist/repair the power transistor diodes.

Several resistors are also toasted. I'll have to go through this amp more thouroughly... If repairing it is worth is and a possibility.

Unless you can get another transformer from MMATS, it's not worth repairing (in my opinion).

I just heard back from MMATS. The parts are not available but repair service is. The transformers have numbers "3:14" on them; if anyone has this part please let me know.

That may be the ratio (primary to secondary).
