Default infinity 7541 (my first actual repair attempt).

First off, thanks for anybody willing to help a noob. And big fat pre apology for the stupid questions I may ask, Or stupid answers, or Mistakes I am gonna make. Feel free to laugh, its ok.

Infinity reference 7541a:

I got this amp, and the owner said it didnt work, but the clip, protect, light stayed lit.

I found q435(tip35c) to be shorted. I pulled and checked the drivers on the schematic with the red check marks, and the resistors red checked are all within the 5% tolerance.

This almost sounds to good to be true, but can I Just replace the two tip35's and see if it fires up?

There is one TIP35C and one TIP36C in each channel. Sometimes, all that's required is replacing the outputs, especially if the amp has a good protection circuit.
