I have a 5002 and would like to know if removing the DIP is easy. It looks like all I have to do is cut all the wires from the board that comes from the DIP board.
Simple huh.... But do I have to do anything else such as remove or add any components or re-route traces? I've seen one that TIPS remove the DIP and they didnt do much but I cant say because I didnt see the bottom of the board. But was told that TIPS added two large resistors below the board after removing the DIP board. |
