This amp has IRFZ44N'S for the power supply with 100 ohm gate resistors.
Can i use the IRFZ46N"S as replacements ?? If so will the 100 ohm gate resistors work or do they need to be changed? |

The Z46s were used with 100 ohm resistors in many of the power acoustik amps that were similar to 1400d (which I'm assuming is similar to the 1700d). After you install them, confirm that the power supply is driving the FETs at the full pulse width. If the Z46s don't run hot at idle, they should be OK.
