i purchased this amp used off ebay. when i originally powered it up,the amp did nothing. i proceded to take it apart. i found a overheated wire[ BROKEN] in the circuit board coming from the sub sw. and going to an input amp. made the repair, repowered the amp and the fans turned on but so did the protect led. when the amp is in 4 5 or 6 ch with sub sw. to out, the amp stays in protect. when in 6 ch with sub sw to 120 or 80, protect led goes off. i have replaced all leaking caps but still the same.i was hoping someone from here might be able to point me in the right direction. thanks in advance, shawn

If you set the switches so that it doesn't go into protect mode, does it produce audio?

Well i got it hooked up and ch 1 2 3 &4 seem to work fine in 6 ch with sub sw. set to 120 or 80. As soon as i switch the sub sw. to out, it goes into protect mode and i get no sound from ch 1 2 3 or 4. Any suggestions, thanks shawn
