Had shorted outputs and a shorted output driver, A/B design.
The output driver is marked: 647 7B4 ECB Anybody know what part that is? Can't seem to find it. Thanks a lot. |

Also, it drives a 2SB688 (PNP) and is in a TO-92L package.

2sb647, most likely. If you need a replacement, the KSA1220 will probably work. The case is different but the pin configuration is the same.

Ok, I think it is a 2SB647. Being that this is A/B design can a KTA1023 be used in its place? If so, should I replace the complimentary driver with KTC1027?

Woops, guess you answered the first question. Is KTA1023 a reasonable sub?

The 1023 should work.
It's probably not necessary to have matched drivers.
