Anyone familiar with Hertz audio speakers? I was offered a deal on some EM100 Midrange drivers with a set of Ndym tweeters and x-overs that were ordered by mistake, along with a set of ECX690 6X9 3-way speakers for a very good price. I was thinking of using the 6X9's as woofers only by disconnecting the tweeters and pairing them up with the EM100 set.
anyone familiar with this company or there products? the bright orange cones are a bit of a turn off but the price was right. Last edited by Zero Cool; 26th September 2010 at 02:47 PM. |

I'm somewhat familiar with this stuff.
Hertz is an italian company, that engineers their stuff in Italy. It's the same company as Audison, elettromedia. I believe you will be happy with that stuff! Their Enregy Series is from their medium to upper class range. I built this series in several peoples cars. Everyone was happy with the speakers! I personally think their speakers are better than some JL-Audio or Kicker drivers. I used to have a HSK set in one of my owm cars some years ago, and I was very satisfied also. So have fun with it! But what tweeters and crossovers did you get? |

I haven't picked them up yet. I can't remember what model the tweeters are. I like that the company publishes full specs. not sure if the specs can be believed but they seem pretty thorough.

They are quite good stuff, and not cheap. It depends on if the drivers can work in your install mostly.
