Everything looks great on this amp, took me a while to notice the bad components. They must have gotten a little hot as some of the color bands are flaked off. If someone could help me to find the value of these = r490, r491, r492, r493 thanks.

The resistors R490,491,492,493 are all the same They are Brown, black, orange, gold, They are 10K 1 watt resistors.
The resistors connect to the middle leg of the output transistors. |

Great thanks mike49504, so these would be ok? Digi-Key - 10KW-1-ND (Manufacturer - RSF100JB-10K) One more thing, is it posssible that these could have failed without killing anything else? The rest of the board and components look fine, there was only very slight discoloration on the bottom side of the board under the four resistors, and the owner of it said that it worked still but would go into protect if volume turned up. Just hoping for a quick fix i guess. Once again thanks for identifying those for me, google wasn't getting me anywhere.

Always possible.
I would also check the outputs to see if any are shorted or leaking just to be safe. |
