Eclipse 36401
Need a little insight with this amp. I see no activity from the 494, what I don't see is the typical LM393 comparator next to it for shutdown. It has a mess of transistors around it, maybe I need to focus on those.
Originally one of the output gate drivers had defective solder joints on all 3 pins. I soldered that back in, but still no output. |

Without the pcb mounted in the metal heatsink a gnd is floating, that is why no start up. Next time I won't accept an amp that has been taken apart, unless I get all the hardware with it.
I still have no rail voltages, will have to check all connections now. |
