Red face Alpine PDX 1.600 Amp, is it good?

I just bought the JL Audio 13TW-5 13.5" Thin-Line Woofer. To replace my two Kicker L7s due to needing more trunk space. Its a 600RMS sub.

I was looking into a perfect amp to match it. It needs to be an amp that outputs the same power for any ohm resistance because the sub is 3Ohm.

Someone suggested the Alpine PDX 1.600. Its 600RMS and outputs that power no matter if the sub is 1, 2, 3 or 4 Ohms.

However, I've never used Alpine in my life, just wondering if I could get some input on if Alpine PDX 1.600 + JL Audio 13TW-5 are a good match and will the amp pump the JL nice?

Thanks for the help!
