I've got a spare lab12 driver in the basement and i'd like to put it in my car.
I was thinking to build a 2 cu-ft sealed sub box.. not sure how much the dimensions matter. what i'm really struggling with is finding an amp that can deliver 400w rms into 6 ohms. No car amps seem to have 6 ohm ratings. I'm happy to buy an older amp on ebay if necessary. |

The 6 ohm power of most amps will likely be approximately 60-70% of the 4 ohm power.

You'd be looking for an amp that can do about 600 watts into 4 ohms. It should then do 400W at 6 ohms. (49 volts RMS)
Of course take car amp rating with a large grain of salt. The guys here can tell you more.
