Some people have been using this part. It's essentially identical to the 1266. When the 1266 is available, I'd recommend using it. When it's not. This should be a good sub.

Tayda Electronics has a BUNCH of those. Search their site for KTA1266.
Be sure to get the correct hFE because they stock the Ys and the GRs. Last edited by m4ick; 17th June 2010 at 12:24 PM. |

They're in Thailand. Have you purchased from them before?
If so, are shipping charges reasonable?

Many times, never had a problem.
Paypal screwed up a transaction where they didn't get paid and they shipped them to me anyway. I later paid them back. They're very friendly. Shipping was reasonable, don't remember how much, but when ordering something like that I get like 32 of those and say 32 C3198s and some Z44Ns, 3205s or whatever I'm short on. |

Just looked it up, 40 of those is around $3 with shipping. In my experience their estimated shipping is what you pay but of course it is "estimated" shipping.

I have used them, ordered irf9540 and irf540's. Cheap, shipping was slow. The 250a2 is still going strong that used those parts.
