In the photos I have, the 'G' is used. Either would likely work but you may as well get the exact replacement if it's available.

Just a heads up, hard to find small signal transistors should be fine, but don't trust the hard to find mosfets from Tayda.
I never had a problem with small signal transistors or power supply mosfets but I ordered 20 IRF9640s from Tayda. 15 of them were one date code which would fry instantly when the amp was powered up, the other 5 had a different date code and allow the amp to power up but I'm not sure those are even legit. Some of the mosfets were even missing the indent!!
