Ahh, ok that makes sense. I have a little more learning ahead of me before I start to plan my amplifier. I'll post up a first-attempt schematic in the next week or so if you are interested. Thanks again for your help.

Post it in the class D forum. The people on that forum will be more likely to find faults with the circuit.
