Suggestions?

Hey Ya'll,

I would appreciate anyones suggestions for my needs here.

Starting point: I have an McIntosh HU, DAC and AMP (MCC404, 100w x 4) and Mac Capacitor. I have two pairs of Boston Z6's, so my plan is to power those Z's with that Mac amp. I'm actually thinking this Amp may not be enough juice.

Finish: I'm looking at putting two 8's in the car.

Suggestions:

Any particular company make some good 8's?

Any particular cross over needed?

A good EQ for the setup?

I already know I'll got with a zapco or butler amp for the 8's.

I'm all about the SQ here. I'm going with 8's to give some mid bass but I do not care for having a 'boom' car. I listen to a massively large range of music, the speakers need to be able to keep up with quick responses.
