Question Punch 150 outputs transistors

Here my Q can i use the BUZ21 & BUZ272 in place of the 2N6487 & 2N6490 in the Punch 150 it not the HD.

No ! your trying to use Mosfets to replace Bi-polar junction transistors with> this will not work without circuitry modding... Sorry

Try to use TIP35 and TIP36 as outputs. it worked for me a many years ago. Beefier current capacity and higher reliability are the only possible gains to be had doing this IMO. A bit tricky making the leads connect also since its not the same package style...But it worked pretty darn good when it was completed. You will jump from a 15 amp collector current rating to a 25 amp collector current rating and a much larger sink connection surface under the transistor die which aids heat dissipation....
