Default Bazooka EL1500

Im working on this amp also. When i power it up the light comes on for a few secs and shuts off.

I tested the output for DC and have 0.68 volts on the output with no Outputs in the amp.

I have -14.68 volts on the op-amps but no + voltage on them.

On the rectifiers this is what i have

U1620
1:-1.48
2:-1.52
3:-1.35

U1620R
1:-.068
2:-71.4

What DC voltage do you have on the RCA shield?

Black probe on the amplifier's ground terminal.

Measure the resistance between the RCA shield, the secondary center tap and the negative speaker terminal. Do you read 0 ohms between all of those?

Measure the DC voltage on the rectifiers again but place the black probe on the negative speaker terminal.

If you measure from the outer legs of the positive rectifier to the outer legs of the negative rectifier, do you read 0 ohms?

Place the probe on the legs as close to the body of the rectifier as possible.

I think you have broken solder connections or broken legs on the positive rectifier.
