Default I was experimenting with punch 60.2

I bought this amp blown on eBay for 8 dollars and well I had three sets of IRF3205s fets and I slapped them in w/o checking the drive circuit and gate resistors and after i finished putting them in the amp powered up fine buy I noticed the drive transistors got a tad bit warm??? Is it because this is a higher powered MOSFET? Or should I lower gate resistor value? And to what ohm? I really didn't think this amp was going to work because it was fried pretty bad but it powered and played music fine but it was a 3 min test.Would this be fine with those transistors? Or no.

Where did you install 3 pairs of 3205s in a 60.2?

For 3205s, 47 ohm resistors are typically used. if the ones in that amp are greater than 51 ohms, I'd suggest replacing them with 47 ohm resistors.

With no B+ power applied (only remote and ground), measure the DC voltage on leg 1 of each of the power supply transistors. Place the black meter probe on the amplifier's ground terminal. Place the red meter probe on the point where you need to measure the voltage. What do you read?

Amp works and so I'm assuming the drive circuit also works because the amp turns on and plays music but I need to change the gate resistors so the drive transistors can swith pwr supply mosfets on faster. Okay so this amp has been repaired before because the outputs are irf530 and irf9630. Usualy the outs are irf540 and so on. But it plays music fine?? Should I change the outputs to originals?

The fact that it produces clean audio doesn't mean the drive circuit is working properly (although it probably is).

To get a better idea of the condition of the drive circuit (assuming that you don't have a scope), measure the DC voltage on the gate leg of each of the power supply FETs. Do they have the same voltage?

Place the black meter probe on the amplifier's ground terminal. Place the red meter probe on the point where you need to measure the voltage.

If you're going to sell the amp or if you have to order other parts, you should replace the outputs. If it's your own personal amp and you don't need any other parts, it's really up to you whether you change them or not. When you install it, use a 25 amp fuse so the power supply will be protected if the outputs fail.
