I got this amp in for repair. The amps power light does not come on and theres no output.

Post the voltages on the LM339. Pin 4 is being kept high and it's likely due to something driving the comparator.

The numbers don't appear to be correct for an 800a2. According to the schematic diagram, the following pins are directly connected ans therefore should have precisely the same voltage.
7, 8, 10 1, 2, 13 Recheck the voltages.

Perry,
I double checked and then tripple checked the readings on the 339 Black probe on ground terminal , then i placed black probe on the secondary center tap and this is what i came up with. 1:0 2:1.31 3:13.20 4:.05 5:2.32 6:4.92 7:1.73 8:4.34 9:4.92 10:4.92 11:8.21 12:0 13:0 14:1.27 |

All of the 800 schematics I have appear to be for a different board. Email Rockford and give them the PC-20.. number (under the transformer) to see if they'll send you the correct schematic diagram. Send me a copy of what they send you.
