Default Crunch gp1600.1

Im Rebuilding The Power Supply In This Amp. The Rectifiers Are Shorted In It Also. Wondering What A Good Sub Is For Theese?? This Is What's In It Now.

The Numbers I Have Are Off The Board And Rectifier Itself.

The MUR1620CT and MUR1620CTR should be good subs.

Have you pulled them and confirmed that they're shorted. It's rare that more than one rectifier shorts.

1 Of Them Is Shorted. The Other Rectifiers IN The Amp Have Broken Legs On Them And Have A Ton Of Solder On Them Looks Like Someone Tryed To Solder The Legs Back Together And Did A Hack Job. So Im Gonna Just Replace Them All.

Perry,

The Next Question Is The Owner Of This Amp Told Me He opened It UP And He Said That The Amp Was Repaired Wrong From A different Shop. He Said That The Resistors Are All Falling Out of The Amp.

I Told Him That was How It Came From THe Factory . He Insist's I Resolder All Of Them .

Wondering How I Can Tell Him That It Wont Effect The Amp IMHO. Or Should I Resolder The Entire Board?? Heres Some Pics Of What Im Talking About

Its Prety Much 3/4 of The resistors On The board Very Time Consuming

If he wants to pay you an hourly rate (whatever it's worth to you), do it. If he doesn't, explain that you can't work for hours on something that has no affect on the proper operation of the amp.

Probably 8.2k ohms. On other crunch amps, it's printed on the board under the resistor.

The K is used in place of the decimal point. It's a 4.7k ohm resistor.

I would think so since all links to the -0 part led me to the non-0 datasheet. The FJL4215 and FJL4315 will be easier to find. Mouser has them.
