Directed D2400

This amp is using IRFZ48's with 22 ohm gate resistors in it. The power supply is blown in the amp i have here. Wondering if i can swap the 48's to 3205's or 44's? And if i can will the 22 ohm resistors work or will i need to switch them also??

The 3205s would be a better choice than the 44s. The 22 ohm resistors should be OK.

There are two different version of the PCBs
here is the first one

And second one.Both amps use FMU36S and FMU36R.Practically not possible to find in US.In some D2400 they also install Mospec F30D60A and F30D60C.You can find replacement for common cathode rectifier ,for example RURG3060CC

will the FMU34S and FMU34R's or FMG35S and FMG35R's work or is there a sub i can put in? I have the first board only 1 power transformer

If you have FMU34S,R ,they good sub,just have lower voltage

If the rail caps are rated for less than 200v, they FMU34 would work. Have you found a cheap source for them? Kenwood Parts has them but they want $10 a piece for them.

Ill do some checking into the prices dont have any good sources yet. So the fmu34r connects to the negative rail?

The center leg of the 34R produces the negative rail voltage. It should connect to the negative terminal of the negative rail capacitor. The positive terminal of the negative rail cap will be connected to the secondary center-tap/ground.
