I forget the exact model, its still at the shop. But all the outputs, power transistors are shorted. the outputs are FRP40N10 which i cannot find anywhere. Anyone have a substitute?
it also has an HIP4080 driver. |

In all of the 4080 based amps that I've tried them in, the IRF3710Z (<< Z is important) has been a good sub.

I've tried 1310s and they wouldn't work. Your amp may be different. I can't guarantee that the 3710Z will work but I've had good luck with them.

ok. Well i will stick with your suggestion anyway.... you havent failed me yet. hehe.
Also someone added 10k gate resistors to all the fets thinking it was going to fix the problem. I am sure 10K isnt the right gate resistors. |
