alpine 7914

I have a alpine 7914, I have intalled this radio in several differt vehicles over the years and haven't had an issue until now, must be getting old. the last several installs included amps, this time it is going into my sons '87 BMW 325i and going straight to the factor wires. it has 8 wires coming out of the top of the plug(power wires) and 2 RCA jacks. there are no other speaker wires coming from the unit. if you remove the plug from the radio it has 8 pins along the bottom line. there are no wires coming from the plug for these. are these for the speaker wires? How would you go about wiring this thing up? HELP

can you tell me the colors of the wires that are coming from the stereo..or maybe get a clear picture of the wireing harneass and ill see what i can do for you
