Is the screw stripped or is the block stripped?
If it's the block, you can probably tap it to the next size or possibly get one from JBL (probably not worth the time/effort/expense). If you're going to tap it, don't use a thread tap. It will take out too much material and leave a sloppy fit.

the idiot previous owner used a cordless impact screw driver meant for 8 inch long decking screws, and it snapped the head of the screw right off and spread the hole out enough to crack the plastic that surrounds the terminals. i tried to drill it with my snap on bits then with my dremel but thats some hard metal and barley put a dent in it.

You'd probably need a carbide burr to cut that screw. Sometimes, you can go through the wire port to cut the screw in half. That reduces the tension and allows you to unscrew what's left of it.
