Im replacing the 2n2907's and 2222's in an amp the new ones i ordered have the emitter as being leg1 isnt it usually the collector (leg 1)?
Just wondering before i put theese in the amp the wrong way |

Which package are they in? If it's the same package, it should be the same pinout. Sometimes the same die is put in different packages which have different pinouts, but the package will have other differences such as bent legs or triangle leg arrangement instead of inline or a different material if this is the case.
Double check with the suppliers info and the datasheet. w |

go to digikey.com or newark.com, etc. and find the data sheets on both parts
compare the pinout for each part/package

the transistors are both T0-92 package.
The kn2907 i pulled im replacing with Fpn2907 and leg 1 of the fpn2907 is the emitter leg. But cant find a good datasheet to tell me what leg of the kn2907 is the emitter leg 1 or leg 3 |

They have the same pin configuration.
