Upon looking at the amp the only thing that concerns me is this resisiter (red arrow)
It seem to be skinnier than the other one on the other side.

As I read, you're suppose to flip the switches with the amp off and disconnected ! Are you guys doing this ??
Every time I flipped a switch, the amplifier was not even connected to power. The last switch I replaced fell apart as soon as I desoldered one row of pins.
