I got this amp in and its dead. I tryed testing the voltages on the 494 all 16 pins read 0 volts.
I check the large diode behind the power and ground terminals and it measures good. Wondering where i should start checking? |

Follw the traces back from pins 8, 11 and 12 to the next transistor on that trace. It should be a PNP transistor. What's the part number on it?
What is the DC voltage on it's 3 terminals?

Ok its marked C945 and all 3 pins are at 0 volts.

Follow it back further or look for other branches on the trace. It should be near the B+ terminal.

I found the problem a blown trace.
