Default Ghetto-Box Picture Thread !

This being a DIY board, a lot of us have to make-do with what we have sometimes.
I know not everybody has show quality sub enclosures made out of 24KT Carbon Fiber !

BE PROUD !

Show-off those nasty sub boxes you made from the old Kitchen Counter cuz you were too broke to get the MDF from Home Depo t !
(I did that once, still had the white with gold glitter formica on it)

wow is that two truck boxes screwed together? I really wish I had gotten a pic of the box my buddies little brother has in his first car. I can't identifiy what it is made out of. Looks like plastic or vinyl or god knows what and it is brown.

That is fantastic!

The first boxes I made were some used 3/4 ply. I forget what from, but they looked like car ramps. Mounted 6x9 in the angled part they were in a hatchback with the seat down most of the time. They were big like 2.5' long and 10x10, I wanted some bass and got it. In fact I ran a booster on them and a second booster on the fronts and it didn't work that bad actually. Long time ago! I still have some boosters too.

This is my Digital Designs 1508 in a subwoofer enclosure that was originally designed for a 10" sub.

Click the image to open in full size.

It is close to their spec though, 1 cubic foot tuned to 35 Hz.
