I got this amp in for repair. SOmeone replaced the fets in it with irfz48's so now i would have to put insulators under all fets and find a new way to clamp them.

Wondering if anyone knows if the irf1010n's will work in this amp for the power supply?

844-IRFIZ48GPBF -- Mouser.
IRFIZ48VPBF-ND, IRFIZ48NPBF-ND -- Digi-key.

The standard case transistors (including the 1010) will work with insulating washers and mica insulators but will end up costing more than the originals.

Yeah i was just wondering if the 1010's would would cause i orderd them awhile back for a differwent kenwood amp and the guy ended up not wanting the amp fixed so i still have the 1010's sitting here.

The 1010's i have are the ones where i dont need the mica insulators or the plastic washers
