i have a memphis pr 1000.1 hook power up to it and sparks wont do nothin any help would be nice. Also anybody interested i have a orion concept 97.3 that works good has a few scratches on top side

If no one else can help, post a photo of the inside of the amp.
Does it spark intensely every time you connect power to it or only the first time you connect the power/ground?

ya as soon as you put power to it it arcs or almost solders wire to input

everytime it does, i dont leave the power hooked up because it pulls one hell of a load or current fairly new amp
|

If it does this without the remote terminal having 12v on it, it sounds like the power supply has failed.

Measure the resistance (no power applied to the amp) from leg 1 to leg 2 for the 6 large transistors (clamped to the heatsink) on the end of the amp nearest the power terminals. Do any read near 0 ohms?

one side was readin 1.4 to 1.7 the other side was readin 1.027 to 1.028 there was 3 legs on each one so I went with the outside legs on each one, I dont know if that was right or not I am new to this stuff

I need to know the resistance from leg 1 to leg 2. Your meter was set to diode check. Set it to ohms.
Look at the pin numbering in the attached image.
