Default Dual XDVD8181 Dead

Got one of these totally dead. Troubleshooting leads me to find that U403 has pins1 and 2 shorted. contains SMD Marking of 25, although it does not match any of the codebooks out there...

Anyone know what U403 is or have schematics?

Ok. I should have looked up the model number.

In most cases, those 'off-brand' head units have no tech support, no service literature and no parts available.

If you post this in the 'parts' forum here with a photo, someone there may be able to help.

Yea, i figured as much. thats why i probably going to get out of attempting to repair head units, unless its a basic issue or no sound issues. otherwise, trash it.

the guy said he unhooked the ground, and let it float while doing something, and it hit something, so when he hooked it back up, its dead. Unit only has 3 pico fuses, and they test good. so something happened.
