hello i am new to this forum, i have a simple question.
I have a Denon dca800 amplifier and i need to replace the power mosfets in one of the channels, they say j174 and k1296 on them. are these the same as 2sj174 and 2sk1296? Where is the best place to buy them? Many thanks in advance, |

You are likely correct if the parts look like the ones in the following datasheets:
http://datasheet.octopart.com/2SJ174...eet-104478.pdf http://datasheet.octopart.com/2SK129...eet-104372.pdf The following search engine will give you US based distributors. B&D has both in stock. Octopart - Electronic Parts, Electronic Components, Datasheets You may also want to try posting a request for EU distributors on the 'parts' or 'solid state' forums.

I have no information on that amp.
The substitute transistor may work. I don't see any reason it wouldn't but when substituting parts, you can/often have unexpected problems.
