JL Amplifier Design Engineer

Does anyone know who designed the JL 500/1 and 1000/1 amps?

I know that people hate to have to repair these amps because of their complexity but they are very well designed. Whoever the engineer is, in my opinion he's probably in the top 2 or 3 design engineers in the car audio industry (of those designing amps).

I know they hired a lot of the best designers from the time in car audios history where they gave a crap. I believe their head designer for the Class A/B products was Bruce ? he used to be the head designer for PPI in 2000-2001.

Someone emailed me and said it was likely Bruce MacMillan. After a bit of Googling, it appears that he was likely the one who designed them.
