NEED HELP!!!
looking for a place where i can buy rca jacks that needs to be soldered onto the circuit board. looked at best buy, fry's, and other little shops, but no where to be found. HELP! sorry, dont know what the part is described as, but it's for a 500/1 JL amp. its the female part of the rca jack, and it has to be soldered....hope this help you help me.... |

no, i need new jacks because it broke. the 2 jacks shown are the ones i need. any suggestions on where i can get new jacks?

I don't have a source for the originals.
You could try posting this (with the photos) on the 'parts' forum to see if anyone has a source for them. You can try JL but they rarely sell parts. You could try to find a junk/salvage amp. You could use standard panel type RCA jacks. They won't physically mount to the board but they'll work. Ebay has a lot of them for sale. Auction number 290337654820 has the type of jack I'm referring to. I'm not suggesting that you buy from this seller. This is simply an example. If you decide to do this, be absolutely sure that the RCA shield doesn't make contact with the heatsink. If you're not using the 'output' jacks, you could move them to the input location.

those RCA's are to short, and the footprint wouldn't match up. also, swapping the two is a pain, im still looking at other shops and also looking online for salvage but cant find any. thanks for the input on this though.

From what I am seeing, there is nothing missing that would keep me from using the ones you have, can you take a picture of the part that you think is broken?
