Im rebuilding a amps output driver board 2 diodes are blown
1- 1n4740 will a 1n4744a work in its place?? 2- 1n737a wondering if i can sub this also to something else so i can get this amp done |

1n4740 is a 10 Volt zener
1N4744 is a 15 volt zener.... without a schematic to look at, I'd have to err on the side of caution and say don't make the substitution. |

It's not likely that the 15v Zener diode will be a good sub for the 10v Zener.
The 1N737 is a 91v Zener. If you can't find the original, a 1N4763 should work.
