Soundstream Rubicon 502 Repair Problem

With Q51 out of the board, do you still have ~0v on all terminals of Q38?

Outers are 0 and center leg comes out to .034.

Did you check Q38 thoroughly or only the outer legs?

I checked the center leg of Q38 but I can't remember the ohms but not OL

It should have read OL in one direction and ~0.5v in the other direction on diode check. If you don't remember, pull it and recheck it.

Same problem on Rubicon 500-2 amp

I am having the same problem on a Rubicon 500-2 amp.
Did you ever get your amp repaired Blazemore?

I performed the same instructions you gave Blazemore, same low voltage on pin 9 of SG3524.
sg3524 pin voltages:
pin1 = 0.009v
pin2 = 2.506v
pin3 = 0.262v
pin4 = 0v
pin5 = 0v
pin6 = 3.233v
pin7 = 2.196v
pin8 = 0v
pin9 = 0.148v
pin10 = 0v
pin11 = 0v
pin12 = 11.77v
pin13 = 11.77v
pin14 = 0v
pin15 = 11.77v
pin16 = 4.915v

Removed and checked D18, OL reverse, 0.191V fwd.

Removed and checked C57, tested good at 22.2ufd.

With D18 removed, the amp powers up with full rail voltages ± 33v I think.
Powered up voltages:
Q38 pin 1 = 0v, pin 2 = .145v, pin 3 = .005v
Q51 pin 1 = 17.0v, pin 2 = 17.0v, pin 3 = 18.5v
pads of D18 (diode removed) measure 2.5V anode, 0v cathode.

Looked at TS2, measures OL impedance out of circuit, 2.5k in circuit.
Thought maybe that was odd, but the amp won't power up with ts2 removed or shorted.

Any suggestions?
