Default headunit wired back to front? not working now..

simple question ( i hope!), what blows on a headunit if you wire pos and neg back to front? the ubit no longer powres up...

Theres usually a diode behind the power connecter in the unit check that to see if its still good also check the board for open traces First things id check

I've fixed a small number of them, just follow the ground and power into it and you should find something blown right away. Most but not always that is all that is wrong, most put something there to protect it like a diode/etc that blows. Some of them have the power across the board though have to follow the trace then.

If the unit was properly fused, it should have only blew a fuse. Have you used a volt meter to make sure the unit is getting power?
