There aren't any good drop-in subs. The CENU07 and CENU57 would likely work if you could find them.

I'd suggest using 2n6488s and 6491s as subs (at least temporarily). The pin configuration is different so you'll insert the base and collector legs into the corresponding through-holes (base-base and collector-collector) and hard-wire the emitter to the remaining pad.

if i got the cenu07 and 57's would they be the best sub and drop in without reverseing them?? i have thoose on hand right now i bought alot of them awhile back

I've never used the CENU07/57 but I believe that they would be a good, reliable sub.

To clarify, the 88/91 wouldn't be reversed here, they would simply be shifted over one position.
