Hey guys.
i just got new car with a mediocore stereo fitted. There is a cable coming out of the passenger footwell for connecting an Ipod. I don't have an ipod and i keep all my music on my sony ericsson so i was wondering is there a adapter to turn an Ipod male jack into a normal male stereo jack? thanks..... x |

If you are talking about the 30 pin plug that is located on the base of the ipod, zen and sansa players it is made by JAE. All of those are the same, pull the HU and see if that cable plugs into a 3.5mm jack. If it does you are golden, no modification needed. Just buy a headphone extension cable.
The mating half to the 30 pin plug will run about $10 from mouser plus you have to solder wires to it. |
