I have four Rockford Fosgate Punch amps all withing 100 watts i suppose?
i have a two Pucnh 55.2's and one punch 40.2 and one punch 100z2 Since these are all i can afford (when you work at dollar tree) lol I'm guessing a Punch 55? How does the Punch 40.2 do? is that amp pretty strong to push an Rockford Punch XLC 12 4 ohms. My 55 pushes it pretty good. But i've never owned a Punch 40.2?? I also have a Punch DVC 12. I need some system design help. I'm putting it in a 94 honda civic coupe. |

If you have 2 of the 55s, and your speaker is a dual voice coil with 4 ohm voice coils, you could bridge one amp to each voice coil

The 40 is just as good as any other Rockford product. They have only made one amp with less power. You really need to consider using your DVC woofer, if it is a dual 4 ohm, and using both of the 55s.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention that one of my Punch 55s is partially working. The left channel doesn't play. I got it to work because the input was blown up. Or what if i wire it to 8 ohms?

first, never use two amps on one sub, unless the amp is strappable, what kind of box are you using? vented/sealed? the Z amp sounds like best but you to consider the box.
