225.2 guts look similars to the 200.2 amps.I want to buy incorporate one of these amps in my collection. If had to decide between the 225 or the 200.2. I'd take a 200.2. Not to mention they are the same as the older DSM's, ix, and x2 turtle shall amps but just in a newer heat sink.

I doubt there is very much difference in any of these designs. Just scaled up or down for the desired power output.

It's interesting to note that the Rockford DSMs I saw tested always feel short of their 2 ohm power specs.

Actually, I have only tested one myself. And it fell short about 20WPC. But I have seen two published magazine tests that also got similar results.
