I accidently shorted one of the fets (FKV550n) while looking at the waveforms on the o-scope. The fuse in the B+ line blew quickly, but apparently was too big. Now the amp draws excessive current. And these fets are shorted 2-3. I can't find a replacement, any suggestions on a suitable replacement or where can I find this fet? Thanks.

If you need fully encapsulated FETs, there aren't many options. I use the IRFIZ44 (note that there are two 'I's).
Digi-Key - IRFIZ44NPBF-ND (Manufacturer - IRFIZ44NPBF)

The IRFIZ worked fine in a couple I did with those in the PS. Sanken mosfet are hard to find or $15 each from sony or someone. The output transistors I've had much better luck getting.
