Yes got the baby running again
defective parts:
-flat cable (connecting the small low pass filter sub board to the main board)
-both protection relays fried internally
- 3 small thinn lines on the RCA / preamp board broken
-4 large DC/DC capacitors out off tolerance (~4300µF instead of 5600µF)
- 2 small capacitors leaking (could smell the bad stuff during resoldering)
and as always a large number of "cold" solder joints
Way of fixing.
- Resoldered all boards (power parts were resoldered using "silver" tin-solder (has a higher solder temp)
- checked major caps with a cap. meter
- followed the input signal (sine generator) through all sections finding the broken curcuit lines and the faulty relays and that damn flat cable.
I guess the amp gets too hot inside for some parts although the amp has two small fans.
