How did you determine that it was defective?

well while I'm tested all the vitals of the amp. I'm noticing I dont have my square wave on the outs(irf640's). Rails are fine. I can see the metal can seem to be lifted surrounding the drive circuit. With me O-scope still clamp on a 640 I push the metal can down. There goes my wave.I remove PCB thinking to repair cold solder joints. Solder made,no wave. I remove can epoxy is cracked surrounding drive circuit and when I push on it,amp is back to working order again. Removed drive circuit to maybe repair some traces on drive circuit itself,I find bottom of board is layerd in epoxy also and impossible to get around without doing damage to board itself.
