Hello
I am kind of a newbie to electronics but am very interested in learning more. Anyway, I would like to be able to play my bass guitar through a car amplifier and sub. In order to get my bass to the amp would I need some kind of preamp? Could someone recomend a preamp that is relatively easy to make (again I am a beginner) and that would be as inexpensive as possible (have a very limited budget)? This doesn't have to be anything fancy at all. just needs to be able to get the bass to the amp. And what would I do about a power supply for this preamp. This will not have to be run off of a car battery. Thank you very much. - Chris |

ok, I have an old practice guitar amp laying around collecting dust. Could I just take out the preamp from that and connect that to the car amp? Would this work?
Thanks a lot - Chris |
